The met gala hunt is an indoor scavenger hunt game, designed for museum visitors to provide a playful and engaging visitor experience with the use of ibeacon technology
The games also aim to help the Metropolitan Museum of Art to gain new audiences and promote annual gala by giving players the opportunity to win a ticket to the Gala by playing the game.
Pain Point
Casual visitor & children lacks in-depth knowledge of artwork when they visit MET. Visitors are sometimes at a loss of engaging way to learn about the artwork in-depth besides from just standing in front of the artwork.
Solution
The gamified scanvenger hunt that coordinates the content with annual Met Gala theme. By playing games, visitors are encouraged to discover connections and influences across various pieces and thus interact with the artwork more playful.
Basic game logic:
1. The game lasted for 20 days
2. 1 winner per day
3. 1 story per day to find an object
4 Small prizes for every winner.
